I hope you felt it: Mother’s Day Dedication

When words were left unsaid

In lieu of the smile, you gifted me

By mending wounds

To the skin, Β the heart, the soul

I hope you felt it…

My love and gratitude.

When words were left unsaid

In lieu of the smile, you gifted me

Teaching by example

Valuable morals, ethics, character traits

I hope you felt it…

My love and gratitude.

When words were left unsaid

In lieu of the smile, you gifted me

By sharing your

Faith, hope, strength

I hope you felt it…

My love and gratitude.

When words were left unsaid

In lieu of the smile, you gifted me

I was whispering to God

I hope you felt it…

My love and gratitude.

For the most amazing woman, I have ever known.

Happy Mother’s Day

This is beautiful Belinda. I hope you had a wonderful day with family. I’m so grateful for my trip and visit with family after two long years. Hugs!

In spite of wishing there were no ‘words left unsaid,’ I suppose there always are a few. Still, my mother’s last words to me, mouthed and barely audible were, “I love you.” Lovely poem, Belinda.

Your message brought happy tears, knowing the beautiful words you heard, warm embrace. I always use the expression ‘no words’ to mean that when so much love is felt that it sometimes defies words, that’s the kind of love between my mom and I. You are a very special soul my friend, and telling you how deeply moving your kindness is, also defies words. Huge hugs.
